Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I just watched the last episode of Season 1. Man, what a show. Season 2 of Life on Mars was incredible and a hard act to follow. But Ashes to Ashes not only follows honorably and well in LoM's footsteps, it surpasses it.

I'm still trying to figure out how everything is put together after the end of Season 1. What is real? What is part of Alex's coma? It's going to be a year before I can see Season 2. I'm in the US and have to order Region 2 DVDs to watch the show. But I can't wait.

Oh, and they used my favorite Supertramp song at the end of the episode. Perfect.

Gene Hunt , no theres a cop, with some great quotes. He should become the next Dr. Who rename the Tardis and repaint it red . The Daleks and the Cybermen and Davros would soon know , oor Gene is Sheriff of this town .

i love this series itis about time that there is a show that shows that a woman can be just as strong as a man and that she can be his eaquil.i love the sparks that fly between alex and gene.i can now say that i finally can say that this generatoin has in my opinon the best on screen pair in these two.i now have a favorite show in ASHES TO ASHES this is the best show on television no matter the country you live in.i am canadian and watch it on bbc canada.thanks to the bbc for this great series and thanks to the fab cast.

Just been in London and stubled accross the filming of the new series, gene Hunt racing round in his red Quatro, superb !

They used my Lotus Esprit to do a bit of filming by City Airport. The Quattro was there and also a Ford Granada. It was really cold. I have some pics...

Tilly, Series 2 is apparently now sceduled for April ... More info as it comes. Thank you Donna and does anyone have any information as to why the BBC are not updating the site anymore? Is it perminant or just until series two? Hope those of you who have read my fanfic enjoy it and more will be updated soon so keep an eye out!

Love ashes to ashes,in particular Gene Hunt(I have to say) and am pleased it is back for a third series.just was dissapointed that nothing came of a romance between Alex and Gene.i'm sure it would have made the series even better,maybe next time!!
